Summer Intern: Operations / AI Analyst

Map our end end-to-end process, identify opportunities to streamline using AI. Ideal for a business student or someone studying automation (CS, data science). Remote, flexible hours, approximately 20 hrs/week.

ExitHero.app is in search of a summer intern to help us optimize our operations. This is a 20 hr/week remote position with flexible hours. 


Background:


ExitHero is an M&A platform for exits in the $1M-25M range. Most of our client companies are in the software space, and most are VC-backed. Our platform identifies the best potential acquirers and conducts outreach to put founders in touch.


Opportunity: 


The ExitHero process is mostly run through a series of steps, initiated by our Exit Coaches on our proprietary software platform. AI-driven processes have been inserted into various steps. But there is an opportunity to streamline and improve our process by using AI along the entire process flow.


Your role as an Operations Analyst Intern:

  • Run the back-office sequence in support of our clients, while documenting steps in the process and time required to complete them
  • Identify steps that seem inefficient, and recommend improvements
  • Identify areas where an AI agent can be used in lieu of a human user, or where an LLM out-performs our current algorithms
  • Test and optimize prompts and output from recommendations


Your deliverables:

  • A step-by-step guide to your improved process
  • Specs for process improvements including optimized prompts. We ship new code bi-weekly so you will have opportunities along the way to see your recommendations go live.


You’ll get:

  • Hands-on experience with a fast-moving startup with a large market opportunity
  • Work directly with CEO and interfacing with company’s VC backers
  • Your recommendations will be implemented, and you will be able to report real-world results


Ideal candidates:

  • Pursuing an MBA or nearing completion of a BA in Business
  • Literate in finance, accounting. Some interest or experience with venture capital and M&A a plus.
  • AI usage & prompt optimization experience

Summer Intern: Media Analyst

ExitHero is in search of a summer intern to help us optimize our media. This is a 20 hr/week remote position with flexible hours.

ExitHero is an M&A platform for exits in the $1M-25M range. Most of our client companies are in the software space, and most are VC-backed. Our platform identifies the best potential acquirers and conducts outreach to put founders in touch.


Opportunity: 


ExitHero recently merged with another company Inorganic. Both companies (and their founders) have a decent base of articles, insights and how-to guides. We need to turn this content into a cohesive media strategy, with the objective of raising awareness of our platform and converting interest into leads.


Your role as a Media Analyst Intern:

  • Catalog all existing company & founder content including articles, insights (LinkedIn posts) and podcasts
  • Define media consumption behavior of targets (tech investors and tech startup founders)
  • Analyze current brand presence versus that of competitors, and summarize our positioning
  • Articulate a media strategy using existing content (repurposed and reformatted as necessary), including best distribution channels, and outcome goals
  • Reformat and distribute content per strategy, measure outcomes
     

Your deliverables:

  • A complete media strategy
  • The start of execution and a calendar for ongoing media distribution through 2026.


You’ll get:

Ideal candidates:

  • Pursuing a degree in media, communications, advertising or marketing
  • Excellent writing skills
  • High comfort level with social medial and media creation / editing tools
